Terms of Battersea

Welcome to Battersea Vehicle Hire Services. These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of our website carhirebattersea.co.uk and our vehicle rental services. By using our services

1. Battersea Tenancy Agreement

All vehicle rentals with Battersea are subject to a Rental Agreement provided with your booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. This agreement sets out the terms and conditions, insurance cover, applicable charges, and your responsibilities for that rental. If any conflict exists between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail for that booking.

2. Battersea Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Battersea, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old for Battersea hires (minimum age may differ by vehicle type; additional charges may apply for drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period stated in the Hire Agreement. Provide valid photographic identification and proof of address, and present a payment card in the driver’s name.

3. Battersea Booking and Payment

  • Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or in person at our Battersea location. A booking deposit may be required to secure your reservation. Full payment and a security deposit are typically due at vehicle collection. All prices are in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4. Battersea Collection and Return

  • You must inspect the animal and any equipment provided at collection and report any existing health issues or damage immediately. A health and condition record will be completed and signed. Return any loaned equipment or the animal to Battersea in the same condition as when collected, allowing for normal wear and tear and normal changes in behaviour. New damage or health concerns arising after collection will be assessed and any associated costs charged accordingly.

5. Battersea Insurance and Liability

  • Basic third-party insurance is included with all Battersea rentals. Full coverage details and excess amounts are provided in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to reduce your financial liability. We recommend reviewing these carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amount shown in the Rental Agreement.

6. Cancellation and Changes (Battersea)

Cancellation and amendment terms at Battersea vary by booking type and notice period. Refer to your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for details. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

7. Battersea Restrictions

You must not use a Battersea vehicle for:

  • Any illegal purpose or activity involving Battersea property. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities using a Battersea vehicle. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials in a Battersea vehicle. Sub-letting to third parties or allowing unauthorised drivers. Driving a Battersea vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Purposes for which the vehicle is not designed...

Violating Battersea restrictions may result in immediate rental termination and additional charges.

8. Battersea Liability Limits

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Battersea will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or business arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the total fees paid by you for the service that gave rise to the claim.

9. Applicable Law

These Terms for Battersea are governed by English and Welsh law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts.

10. Changes to Battersea Terms

Battersea may amend these Terms at any time. Amendments take effect immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after posting constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
